Let A's speed be x km/hr and B's speed be y km/hr
Distance to be covered = 42 km
Time taken by A = 42/x hr and
Time taken by B = 42/y hr
Now according to the given condition
(42/x)-(42/y) = 1 (i)
and (42/y) - (42/2x) = 5/2 (ii)
Now by solving (i) and (ii)
Speed of B's is 7 km/hr

If you think dogs can't count, try putting three dog biscuits in your pocket and then giving tommy only two of them.
