Solution

Let the amount invested be x, y and z respectively
Then
(x*2*5)/100 = (y*3*5)/100 = (z*4*5)/100
Therefore

since interest is same so let interest is x then money(A)=p1 B=p2 C=p3 Now p1=10x p2=20x/3 p3=5x onadding all we get x=732. p1=7320, p2=4880, p3=3660 Now ratio is 732:488:366 i.e 1/10:1/15:1/20

Then, a * 2 * 5/100 = b * 3 * 5/100 = c * 4 * 5/100 = k
=> a = 10k , b = 20k/3 , c = 5k

since si is same for all sons. so Principle is inversely proportional to time.

LET THE AMOUNTS INVESTED FOR A, B AND C BE p1,p2,p3

SINCE INTEREST IS SAME FOR ALL THE CASES
THEREFORE
(p1*r*2)/100=(p2*r*3)/100=(p3*r*4)/100=k
from here
p1=k/2
p2=k/3
p3=k/4
so by multiplying it with 1/5
we get
p1:p2:p3=1/10:1/15:1/20
so answer is option 3

B got RS b
C got RS c
So, A's interest = (a*2*5)/100=a/10
B's ,, = (b*3*5)/100=3b/20
C's ,, = (c*4*5)/100= c/5

now, a/10=3b/20=c/5

=(1/10):(1/15):(1/20)

Let x1,x2,x3 are money of one two and third respectively
2*x1=3*x2=4*x3
so:
1/2:1/3:1/4
multiply by 1/5 we get answer

then , a's amount
(a*5*2)/100=M =>a=100M/10

b's amount
(b*5*3)/100=M =>b=100M/15

c's amount
(c*5*4)/100=M =>c=100M/20


=> a:b:c = 1/10 : 1/15 : 1/20

Given that
(5%of a)*2=(5%of b)*3=(5%of c)*4 after calculations
then it will
a/10:3*b/20:c/5

suppose x, y and z is the amount invested by the for their son A, B and C respectively thus
x*2*5/100= y*3*5/100 = z*4*5/100
