Let S be the sample space and E be the event of drawing 2 white balls.
Then, n(S) = Number of ways of drawing 2 balls out of 13
= 13 C 2 = 13*12/2 = 78
n(E) Number of ways of drawing 2 balls out of 5
5 C 2 = 5*4/2 = 10
Therefore
P(E) = n(E)/n(S) = 10/78 = 5/39
