Where p=720 and r=8%,t=3
after calculation we get
si= 172.8
And again p=720,r=21/2%and t =2
Then si =151.2
By solving we get loss then
substract loss=172.8-151.2
Loss of 21.60

from bablu, simple interest for 2 years = 720*21/2*1/100*2 =151.2
so transaction = 172.8 - 151.2 =21.6 which is lost..so answer is option 3) lost Rs.21.60

1st case:
principal=720
rate=8%
time=3 years
SI=720*8*3/100=172.8
Amount1=principal+SI
= 720+172.8
= 892.8

2nd case:
principal=720
rate=21/2%
time=2 years
SI=720*21/2*2/100=151.2
Amount2=principal+SI
= 720+151.2
= 871.2

Amount1 - Amount2
= 892.8 - 871.2
= 21.6(loss)
