let assume that the price shown is rs 100

then after 10 % commission = 100-10 =90

given that after 10 % commission gain is 20 %

if original price is x then

x + 20 % of x =90

x=75 rs

if commission is 20% on showing price then the price is = 100 -20 =80 rs

so gain is rs 5 and original price is rs 75

so 5 = 20/3 % of 75

so option 3 is correct .

Let the marked price MP be X, CP be 100rs thus SP will be 120 since 20% gain...
For 10% commission the MP will be:
SP=X-10%X=>133.33
For 20% commission the profit will be:
133.33-20% of 133.33=106.664
thus profit is 6.664 which is (20/3)approx.

Listed price= 120*100/90 = Rs 400/3
In 2nd case, SP= 400/3 - 80/3 = Rs. 320/3
Profit = Rs 20/3

Then S.P= 100 + 20% of 100
S.P = Rs.120 = X - 10% of X
