let split the given series in 3 groups as

(173,327,491) , (184,276,361) , (214,346,x)

we will get the 3rd element of each group as

(173+327)-9 = 500-9 = 491
(184+276)-99 = 460-99 = 361
(214+346)-9 = 560-9 = 551

so, x = 551

327=491-173+9
276=361-184+9
hence the answer is 551..considering next 3 numbers

first of all add first two numbers then subtract 9 from total .
this will be 3rd number.

after that add 4th and 5th numbers then add 1 in total of 4th and 5th.

this will be 6th number.

so like that add 7th and 8th numbers .
after that subtract 9 from total of 7th and 8th numbers.
so last value will be 551.

so answer is 551
