Then A's Income = Rs.172
B is less by Rs.72
Percentage of less= (72*100)/172
= 41.86%
Hence my choice is 5.

then A salary=100+72=172

B income less than A= (72/172)*100

therefore , if A' s income is 72% more than B' s income then B' s income is (7200/172)%= 41.86% less than A' s income.

As A is having 72% more than B. So let us Assume if income of B is 100 then A's income is 172
So, B's income less than A = (100-172/172)*100 = 41.86%
Answer in negative because A's income is LESS than B's.

172 is 100 percent
then 72 is 41.86%

41.86% is 72

Simply, the ratio of Incomes of A and B is 1.72/1
so B is .72 less than A.
Then %=(.72/1.72)*100=41.86% Ans
