Six bells commence tolling together and toll at intervals of 2 4 6 9 10 and 12 seconds. In first 30 minutes how many times do they toll together?

Answer: 26

LCM of 2 4 6 9 10 and 12 = 180
This means that every 180 seconds the bells will toll together
So in 30 minute or 1800 seconds number of times they will toll together = 1800/180 = 10

As its mentioned that Six bells commence tolling together, so in the beginning i.e. at 0 the bells have tolled together so Answer is 10+1 = 11

So,the bell will toll together after every 180 sec(3 minutes)
In 30 minutes,they will toll tegther
30/3+1=11 times
Hence, the Option 4 is correct

They toll together at the zeroth second
The next time they toll together is
=LCM(2,4,6,9,10,12)
=180seconds
=3minutes
Every 3 minutes they toll together

In 30 minutes,they toll together
(30/3)+1=11 times

LCM of 2 4 6 9 10 12 = 180
So every 180 seconds bells will toll together.
In 3 minutes we have = 30*60 =1800 seconds

So in 1800 bells will toll together = 1800/180 times = 10 times

As it's mentioned in the answer that bells commence tolling together this means the bells have tolled at 0 seconds.

Answer value is = 10 + 1 = 11

LCM(2,4,6,9,10,12) = 180
