Let the face value be Rs 100
Dividend per share = Rs 12.5 (as it is 12.5% stock)
By investing Rs 9000, earnings = Rs 720
To get an earning of Rs 12.5, investment required = (9000*12.5)/720 = Rs 156.25
i.e., Market Value of Rs 100 stock = 156.25 - (1/2) = Rs 155.75

(9000÷720)×(25÷2)=156.25 rupees
