A vendor bought 37 chocolates for 185 rupees. How many chocolates in 185 rupees must he sell to gain 50%?

Solution

CP of 1 Chocolate = 185/37 = Rs. 5
SP of 1 Chocolate for 50% profit = 20*1.5 = Rs. 7.5
So in 185 Rupess how many chocolates should be sold = 185/7.5 = 24.66
