(of the total marks of the subject) more marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics? Total marks are 500

68 % = 340 marks out of 500
According to the given condition, 10 % in 3 subjects = 30 marks
Hence total marks = 340 + 30 = 370 = 74 % of 500 marks

Therefore, his total marks is 68% of 500= 340.
Now, every paper is of 100 marks. So if he got 10 % (of the total marks of the subject) more marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics, then his total marks will increase by (10*3)=30 and total marks will be 340+30= 370.

It means he will add 30 marks ( from PCM) in total marks obtained by him which will add 6% marks in his overall percentage out of 500.

So he will get 68+6 = 74% marks.
