Shaktiman saw a criminal at a distance of 150m. When Shaktiman started chasing him the criminal also started running. If the ratio of Speeds of Shaktiman to Criminal is 6:5. Then how much distance did Shaktiman run to catch the Criminal?

Solution

Let the distance traveled by criminal before he is caught be x

Time taken by Shaktiman = Time taken by Robber

(150 + x)/6 = x/5
=> 750 + 5x = 6x
=> x = 750 m
Distance traveled by Shaktiman = 750+150 = 900m
