Then sum of money becomes double,

So,
In SI = PTR/100
T = 9
SI = P
= > 9*P*R/100 = P *100 / (9 R)

so simple interest becomes x (SI rate % per annum will a sum of money double)
x=(x*9*R)/100
as result R is 11.11

assume pricipal amount= x, as money gets doubled so Interest = x, n=9, now we have to find r i.e. rate of interest.

r= x * 100/x*9
r= 100/9 = 11.11
