Rahim and Rahman start a business with 10000 rupee investment.Investment of Rahman is 6000 rupee.
After 1 year Rahim invests 10000 again. If profit is 21000 after 5 years, then profit of Rahman is

Solution

Investment of Rahim in 5 years = 4000 + 4*14000 = 60000
And investment of Rahman in 5 years = 6000*5 = 30000
Hence profit of Rahman = 30000 * 21000 / (60000 + 30000) = 7000

Rahim and Rahman start a business with 10000 rupee investment.Investment of Rahman for 5 years is 6000 rupee. Total Investment of Rahman is 6000 *5 = 30000 rupee. ( if considered for one year )
After 1 year Rahim invests 10000 again.
Total investment of Rahim is 4000*1 + 14000*4= 60000 ( if considered for one year )

Then profit of 21000 Rs will be divided between Rahman and Rahim in the ratio of 30000:60000 or 1:2.

Hence Rahman will get Rs 7000 and Rahim will get Rs 14000.
