Solution

For an income of Rs. 3400, investment = Rs. 45000

For an income of Rs. 8.5, investment = Rs. (45000/3400) * 8.5 = 112.5
For a Rs. 100 stock, investment = Rs. 112.5

Market value of Rs. 100 stock = Rs. 112.5 - 0.75 = Rs. 111.75
