Solution

Let Madhav’s present age be x
Madhav’s age before 11 years = (x - 11)
Madhav’s age after 25 years = (x + 25)
As given is the question,
(x + 25) = 12 (x – 11)
x + 25 = 12x – 132
11x = 157, x = 157/11
= 14.27 years.
