The strength of Gopal is twice that of Sandeep, whereas the strength of Sandeep is thrice that of Mohit. If Gopal can do the complete work in 5 days, then total days required to do the complete work are

Solution

According to the given condition, let days required to do the complete work by Gopal, Sandeep and Mohit are respectively x, 2x and 6x.
Then work done in 1 day = (1/x)+(1/2x)+(1/6x) = (10/6x)
Total days required = 6x/10
on putting the value of x, we get total days = 6*5/10 = 3
