50 paisa, 1 rupee. Then total number of 25 paisa coins is Given that 1 rupees coins are 8.

distribution is
19*0.25 = 4.75
13*0.50 = 6.50
8*1.00 = 8.00

after 8 rupee coin we have 32
and 11.25
let x be no of 25 paisa
and y be no of 5 paisa

x+y=32
x.25=y.5=11.25

on solving above equation , we get y=13
x=19

Total No of Coin= 40
Total Cost=19.25


No of 1rs coin=8

so Total Number of 50paisa and 25paisa coins=40-8

(i.e)x+y=32===>(i) (here x is no.,of 50paisa & y is no., of 25paisa)


Now Total Cost of 50paisa and 25paisa coins=19.25-8=11.25

(i.e).5x+.25y=11.25=====>(ii)

From (i) and (ii) x=13 and y=19

so number of 25 paisa coin is 19

50 paisa ( F in number ), 1 rupee ( R in number).

Then T+F+R=40 and
25T+50F+100R=1925 or T+2F+4R= 87;
Also R=8.

solving these eqns, we get T=19
