Solution

On MP, of 3 toys, he is giving 10% discount and 1 toy free. Thus of selling 4 toys he is getting 20% profit.
=> 90% of MP of 3 toys = 120% of CP of 4 toys
(90/100)*3*MP = (120/100)*4*CP
=> MP/CP = 16/9

If marked price is Rs 100/- per toy, then marked price of 4 toys= Rs 400
SP of 4 toys = Marked price of 3 toys x0.9= 300x0.9= Rs 270
CP of 4 toys = 270X100/120= Rs 225

Hence Ration of M.P. To CP = 400:225=16:9

LET 100 RS BE THE MARKED PRICE, THEN THE SELLING PRICE IS RS. 90. ON BUYING 3 PIECES, IT WILL COST 270 RS. BUT HERE 4 PIECES FOR RS. 270. 20% PROFIT FROM THIS RS. 270 MEANS COST PRICE= 270/120*100= 225.
PER PIECE COST PRICE= 225/4= RS. 56.25

SO MARKED PRICE: COST PRICE= 100: 56.25= 400: 225= 16: 9

S.P of 4 toys=Rs.270
