Solution

B's 1 day work = 1/45
A's 1 day work = (135/100)*(1/45) = 3/100
18 days work of A & B = 18*(1/45 + 3/100) = 47/50
Remaining work = 1 - 47/50 = 3/50
As C takes 3 days to complete the remaining work .'. C's 1 day work = (3/50)/3 = 1/50
Ratio of efficiencies of A, B & C respectively = 3/100 : 1/45 : 1/50 = 27 : 20 : 18
Ratio of share of A, B & C respectively = 27*18 : 20*18 : 18*3 = 162 : 120 : 18
C's share in total wages of Rs. 9750 = [18/(162+120+18)]*9750 = 585 Rs.
