On solving
50 % of 80 % of 100 - 20 % of 60 % of 100 - 32 % of 25 % of 100 - 1/6 of 36 % of 100 = 40 - 12 - 8 - 6 = 14
but RHS is given as 12 so 2 should be added in RHS

b=(20/100)*(60/100)*100=12;
c=(32/100)*(25/100)*100=8;
d=(1/6)*(36/100)*100=6;
so required result=40-12-8-6-12=2

80% of 100 is 80 whose 50% is=40,
similarly 60% of 100 is 60 whose 20%=12,
25% of 100 is 25 whose 32% is=8,
36 % of 100 is 36 whose 1/6=6.
now LHS will be=40-12-8-6=14
for make it equal with RHS we must add RHS with 2.
hence ans will be 2.

50% of 80% of 100 is 40 ,20% of 60% of 100 is 12 , 32% of 25% of 100 is 8 and 1/6 of 36% of 100 is 6 and now subtract all of them from 40 i.e 40-12-8-6 = 14 and on the right hand side it is 12 and we need 2 more therefore our answer is option '9'....
