Statement is incomplete.
Considering numbers between 10000 and 80000 that can be formed by using 0,4,5,8,9 without any repetition will be between 40000 and 59999.
no. of such numbers = 2*4*3*2*1=48 as First digit can have only 2 values i.e. 4 and 5 only.
