Two trains are moving with speeds 40 km/hr and 50 km/hr in same direction. Train with speed 40 km/hr is 30 km ahead of the second train.

Two trains are moving with speeds 40 km/hr(A)and 50 km/hr(B) in same direction.
Train B is making up the distance between two trains @ 10km/hr.

So it will take 3 hrs to meet train A.
So minimum path required for making a meeting of the two trains is 50*3=150 kms.

Relative speed for two trains will be = 50-40 = 10km/hr
So the time taken to reach the 2nd train to 1st train is = 30/10 = 3hrs
Distance travelled by 2nd train with 50km/hr speed for meeting train 1 with 40km/hr will be = 50km/hr * 3hr = 150km
