The strength of Ram is twice that of Shyam, whereas the strength of Shyam is thrice that of Mohan. If Ram can do the complete work in 5 days, then total days required to do the complete work are

Solution

According to the given condition, let days required to do the complete work by Ram, Shyam and Mohan are respectively x, 2x and 6x.
Then work done in 1 day = (1/x)+(1/2x)+(1/6x) = (10/6x)
Total days required = 6x/10
on putting the value of x, we get total days = 6*5/10 = 3
