The sum of ages of three children is 15 years. The age of the eldest one is twice that of the younger one and the age of the youngest is one less than half the age of eldest.Calculate the product of ages?

Solution

According to the given condition
x+y+z = 15
x = 2y
z = (x/2)-1
on solving we will get
