This sequence is formed by two sequences
1) 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12
2) 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32
adding these two sequences, we get the result

3*2 -0 = 6
6*2 - 2 = 10
10*2- 4 = 16
16*2 -6 = 26

The series is 3,6,10,16,26.....
We can write the difference between the consecutive numbers as 3,4,6,10.
Again, as 3=2+2^0
4=2+2^1
6=2+2^2
and 10=2+2^3
therefore the next(difference) no. will be 2+2^4=2+16=18
And so the next no. of the series will be= previous no. + difference between the no.(i.e.18)
=26+18=44.

next number is combination of previous number and some another number.that another number is in series of 0,2,4,6,8.
so 6 is 3*2 - 0
10 is 6*2 - 2
16 is 10*2 - 4
26 is 16*2 - 6

the sequence is very simple...

x,2x-0,2(2x-0)-4,2(2(2x-0)-4)-6,,

so the next number is 2( 26)= 52-8=44

as we check the difference bw two numbers:3,4,6,10,18.again,the difference between these numbers is 1,2,4.the next number in this sequence will be 8 and corresponding the answer will be 44.

Diff between 3&6 is 3 nd diff btwn 6&10 is 4 nd diff between 10&16 is 6 nd 16&26 is 10 now d diff between dese difrnces are as 1,2,4 so d next diff wud be 8 .ie. add 18 to 26 dat wud mak it to b 44.......so 44 is d answer.....

difference logic
1.6-3=3 here 4-3=1
2.10-6=4 here 6-4=2
3.16-10=6 here 10-6=4
4.26-16=10 next difeerence will be 8
we get next difference 8 if we get first diferrence is 18
now add 18 to 26 =44
hence ans 44

diff b/w them is 3,4,6,10,....---(2)
diff b/w num of seq (2) is 1,2,4,.----(3)
after 4 in seq (3) the next num is 8=(2^3)
so next num in seq (2) is 18=(10+8)
and next num in seq (1) is 18+26=44
