Maximum amount of fruits:

Pomegranate = 1kg(140rs)
Apple = 1kg(100rs)
Grapes = 2kg(2*80 = 160rs)
Oranges = 10kg(10*60 = 600rs)

Total : 14kg = 140+100+160+600 = 1000rs

price for 1kg of all fruits =rs 320
remaining amount in hand = 1000-320 =rs 680
so cost of 1 kg orange is 60 = 9*60 =rs 540
remaining amount = 680-540=rs140
so for remaining amount we will buy 1kg of pomegranate for rs140. remaining amount in hand is nil.

As the fruits very in rates. To purchase maximum amount of fruits (in integral Kg) in the exact investment of 1000 rupee, the cheapest fruit is to be maximum and adjust further purchases of other fruits as below.
10 Kg. of oranges + 1 kg. of apples + 2 Kg. of grapes + 1 Kg. Pomegranate
= 10*60 + 100*1 + 80*2 = 140*1
= 600+100+160+140 = 1000 rupees.

first purchase each fruit(1 kg each) 140+100+80+60=380rs, so 620rs left, buy orange(60rs) which is cheap, to make max amt of fruits
so 620/60=10.33kg of orange
so 10.33+4=14kg, rounded to 14kg

Buy each 1kg the total amount is 380 (4kgs) the remaining amount is 620, with these we can buy 9kgs orange (9*60=540) remaing we can buy 1 kg grapes (1*80) so maximum we can buy 14 kgs

first we buy all types of fruit means 4 kg costs 380 Rs. We have 620 Rs left . Then buy 9 kg of oranges cost 540. Rest amount (620-540=80). Using 80 Rs we may buy 1 kg of grapes. So total amount of fruits is= (4+9+1=10)

Rs(60+100+80+140)=Rs380
Rs1000-Rs380= Rs620(for further purchase)
as Rs 60 is min then 10kg of orange
therefore 60*10=600
so max kg 10+4 = 14

step (1) Since four fruits of 1 kg required ,hence 60+100+80+140=Rs 380
step (2) to make Rs1000 : 380 + 9*60 +80 (4+9+1=14)

at least 1 kg fruit from every type of fruits.
so rate will be 140+100+80+60=380.
for maximum fruit we will take the fruit of min rate.
so 620/60=60.xx.
we can take exact 10 kg more and i have left 20 rs.
so decrease 1 kg fruit of orange and increase 1 kg fruit of grapes.
so 10 kg orange=600
and 2 kg grapes=160
and 1 kg apple =100
and 1 kg pomegranate=140
total amount = 1000(exact)
total weight = 14 kg.
so ans will be 7.

first purchase 1kg of each fruit the total cost will be 380 (4 kg), then again purchase a kg(1 kg) of grapes so that the total cost will be 460, and for the remaining of 540 rupees we could buy (9 kg) of orange. so the maximum possibility is 14kg for the exact investment of 1000 so the ans is option 7.

reason is we have to take minimum 1kg of all the fruits so after losing 380 we will get 4kg fruits
then after that if we take 9 more kg of oranges and 1kg grapes then our total 1000rs get spent...
so the total kg of fruits is 14...
