We have two Arithmetic Progression series :
4/5=1-(1/5)
4/7=1-(3/7)
4/9=1-(5/9)

And
2/3=1-(1/3)
1/2=1-(2/4)
next number is 1-(3/5)=2/5=0.4

So, Answer is option (9).
