What minimum possible % of a number (any multiple of 10 up to 100) will be 2 more than 6 % of twice of the same number.

Solution

x*r/100 = 2 + 6*2x/100
so x/100[r-12] = 2
so r-12 = 200/x
so r = 12 + 200/x
on taking maximum of x we will get r = 12 + 200/100 = 12 + 2 = 14
