2pairs whose product will be 12 i.e (6,2),(4,3)
probability=2c2/9c2 + 2c2/9c2
=(1+1)/36
=1/18

we can select any two of the numbers from 1 to 9 in 9c2 i.e (9*8)/(2*1) = 36 ways.

Out of these 36 ways there are 2 ways in which we can get the product as 12
i.e (2,6) and (3,4)

Hence the probability = 2/36 = 1/18

total combinations=9c2=36
probability=2/36

p=(selected o/p as from condition)/(total possible o/p);
selected o/p as per condation is... 2*4,3*2,4*2,2*3;

and total possible o/p is 9C2.
therefore p=4/9C2=1/18.
ans =1/18.

only two possible pair that can be made
is (4,3) and (6,2)
n(E)=2
no of selection of 2 nos out of 9= 9C2= (9*8)/2!=36

thus n(S)=36

p(E)=n(E)/n(S)=2/36=1/18 ans.
thus option (5) is correct.

the 2 no. can be selected as( 9!/2!*7!)=36.
the possible combinations whose product will be 12 are (2 and 6) or (3 and 4).so 2 possibilities are there.
so probability should be 2/36=1/18.
so,correct option wil be 5.
