At present fathers age is sum of mothers and sons age. If 5 years ago mothers age was 9 times sons age then fathers age at that time was
(given that the age of father at the time of birth of child was 32)

let present age of father,mother and son be F,M and S respectively...
a/c to given condition, F=M+S
and 5yrs ago .. M-5=9(S-5)
this implies M=9S-40
now given that age of father at the time of birth of child was 32.. so, F=S+32
..After solving the equation we get,S=8,M=32 and F=40.
Hence five years ago father's age was 35.

Let age of father=F, of mother=M and of son=S.

As at present fathers age is sum of mothers and sons age,
therefore F=M+S ---(1)

5 years ago mothers age was 9 times sons age,
So M-5 = 9(S-5)
M-5 = 9S-45 ----(2)

the age of father at the time of birth of child was 32,
so F = S+32 ----(3)

(1) n (3) gives
M+S = S+32
M = 32 ----(a)

(2) becomes
32-5 = 9S-45
S = 8 ---(b)

(1) becomes
F = 32+8 --(from a and b)
F=40. at present

so 5 years ago
F=35.

At present :
father_age=son_age+mother_age
=> 40=8+32
5 years ago
9*son_age=mother age
=>9*3=27 and at that time father_age=35
cross check 3 years ago:
father_age=32 and son_age=0;
Ans is 35 option 7

let son age is now x yr.
F = M +S
M-5 = 9(S-5)
=> M = 9S -40
F = 32+x
so,
32+x = 9x-40 + x
x = 8 yr.
F = 32+8 = 40 yr.
5 yr back F = 35 yr.

Fathers age --> x
Mothers age --> y
Sons age --> z

At present => x = y + z
If z = 0 , x = 32 => y = 32 at present

5 years ago => (y - 5) = 9(z - 5)
=> (32 - 5) = 9(z - 5) => z = 8

=> Fathers present age = 32 + 8 = 40
=> Fathers age 5 years ago = 35 years

Let the age of the age of the father, mother and son be F, M and S respectively.
As per the given conditions,
F=M+S (equation 1)
and M-5=9(S-5)=> M=9S-40 (equation 2)
Putting the value of M in equation 1, we get,
F=10S-40 (equation 3)
Now, S=F-32 (equation 4)
Putting the value of S in equation 3 and solving for F we get,
F=40.
So 5 years back, father\'s age was 40-5 = 35 years.

& at present sons age=Y and fathers age=Z
It is given that , X-5=9Y ....1
and at present Z=X+Y
when Y=0 then Z=X=32
put this value in (1)
then Y=3
so fathers age=32+3=35
