Dear Admin,
I do not agree with your NO ANSWER. As per the information given
Volume of water through the pipe in 1 hour=22*15000*0.14.*0.14/7
=924 cu.m/h
Volume of the water increased in the tank is=44*28*1/2=616cu.m
Time it takes =616/924=2/3h=40minutes.
Correct option is 10.
So saying NO ANSWER is not right.
Correct option is 10.

It is given that for a tree that has x nodes, if x-1 of it's nodes are leaves then this tree is a star.

You have N star trees and the number of leaves for each. We call a subset of star trees beautiful if they can be merged together.

Pragati your hope for the new year again failed by the admin . For yesterday's (4-1-22) puzzle admin answered as -54+45=-99. It's a new thing in maths.
I don't understand why admin is not taking care while putting questions. When it is following many and it is a good platform we must take care every time. Key should be prepared and re checked every time. Finally I would like to say me maths means murder for maths

I think we should answer the puzzle with some assumptions so that answer is one of the options from 1 to 9 only.
That will be great fun and old experience will help to get suitable answer.
Response for puzzle dated 24.12.2021 is still awaited.
Winner of the week may confirm.

To maintain the reliability of questions / solutions of m4maths site, please recheck the solution for puzzle dated 24.12.2021.

Absolutely correct.
Really surprised to see that I have been given -1 marks for correct answer which is option 10.
I don't think anyone can justify the answer as 120 for which marks have been awarded to other friends.
Really disappointing .

Length as 24 cms can be ignored as typing mistake, but 120 square tiles of side 4 mtrs can not fit in 24x20 area.

For puzzle dated 24.12.2021, answer should be none of the above... option 10.
Hcf.. 4 mtr is side of square tile.
Hence area of square tile=16 sq mtr
Number of tiles = 24x20/16=30

Although I have also answered 120 and got marks, but it is not correct.
Please check and give marks to deserving members.

Our weekly winner would be decided based on the following factors:

1) Top Scorer for the week in Today's puzzle and someone who has not already won a prize in previous weeks in the same month.
2) A particular week would be considered as part of a month if the Friday falls in the same month.
3) In case if a Top Scorer has already won the prize in past weeks, the second top scorer of that week would be the Weekly Winner and so on.
4) In case of a tie, M4Maths Team will decide the winner by taking other parameters into consideration

Examples:
In week-1 of a Month, Ram's score is 92 and is the highest among all users. The Weekly Prize Winner is Ram
In week-2 of a Month, Ram's score is 94 and is the highest among all users, Rahim's score is 91 and is second highest. The Weekly Prize Winner is Rahim.

25 NOV 2021 SpeedA and B take part in a 200 m race. A run at 5.4 Km/h. A gives B a start of 12 m and still beat him by 6 sec. Speed of B is:
OPTION1. 5.15 Km/h
2. 4.14 Km/h
3. 4.25 Km/h
4. 4.40 Km/h
5. 4.51 Km/h
6. 5.20 Km/h
7. 4.85 Km/h
8. 4.95 Km/h
9. 5.11 Km/h
10. None of the above
SolutionAโ€™s speed = (5.4x 5/18) m/sec = 27/18 m/sec
Time taken by A to cover 200 m
= (200 x 18/27) sec = 133.33 seconds.
โˆด B covers 188 m in 133.33 + 6 = 139.33 seconds.
Bโ€™s speed = {(188/139.33) x (18/5)} Km/h
= 4.85 Km/h
