there are 3 pairs . consider it A,B,C
A-(1,6)

B-(3,4)

C-(2,5)

Now the possible combinations to place A B C is 6.
because for A - 3 possible place
B- 2 POSSIBLE PLACE
C-1 POSSIBLE PLACE
3*2*1=6
NOW A HAS TWO PAIR SO POSSIBLE COMBO FOR 1 AND 6 IS 2 ..SAME FOR B AND C
2+2+2=6

SO 6+6=12
