(3+4+5+6+7+8+9)2 =84

Mon-x miles
Tue-x+1 miles
Wed-x+2 miles
Thur-x+3 miles
Fri-x+4 miles
Sat-x+5 miles
Sun- 3 miles
so he travels 1 mile extra the previous day so on sunday he travelled 3 mile so on monday he travel 4 miles so accordingly tue-5,wed-6,thur-7,fri-8,sat-9
totally for one week -(3+4+5+6+7+8+9)=42
for 2 week =2*42=84 miles

first week he travels 42 miles.
2nd week also he's again repeating the same. so 2 * 42 =84 miles in total
