When there are 180 children, let each child get 'x' sweets, then total sweets=180x
When there are (180-45) or 135 children, then each child get (x+4) sweets
As quantity of sweets in both the above case is same, 180x = 135(x+4)
=> 180x = 135x+540
=> 45x=540 or x=12
So total number of sweets=180x=180*12=2160
