Assume first child (the youngest) get = x Rs.

According to the question ;
each son having 20 rs more than the younger one

Second child will get = x + 20 Rs
Third child will get = x + 20 + 20 = x + 40 Rs
Forth child will get = x + 20 + 20 + 20 = x + 60 Rs
Fifth child will get = x + 20 + 20 + 20 + 20 = x + 80 Rs

Total amount they got = 1000 Rs

x + (x+20) + (x+40) + (x+60) + (x+80) = 1000
5x + 200 = 1000
5x = 800
x = 160 Rs.
So the youngest child will get 160 rs

amount of five children can be assumed as
(x-2*20),(x-20),x,(x+20),(x+2*20)
total amount=1000
or (x-2*20)+(x-20)+x+(x+20)+(x+2*20)=1000
or 5x=1000
or 5x=1000
or x=200
share of youngest child=(x-40)=(200-40)=160

suppose younger son get x rs then immediate elder brother will get x+20 and and his immediate elder brother will get x+40, similarly x+60 and x+80.
and sum of all is 1000,so x+x+20+x+40+x+60+x+80=1000
5x+200=1000
5x=800
x=160
so ans is 160 that is share of yongest brother.

Let younger one get x and he divided money into x, x + 20, x + 40, x + 60, x + 80.

x + x + 20 + x + 40 + x + 60 + x + 80 = 1000
5x + 200 = 1000
5x = 800
x= 160
Younger one gets 160.

its 120 ,because 1000 /5=200 ,200-80=120
