A 's 1 day work = 1/20
B 's 1 day work = 1/25

A + B's 1 day work = 1/20 + 1/25
------------------------>9/100

A + B's 5 day work = 5 * 9/100
------------------------->9/20

Remaining work = 1 - 9/20 == 11/20

A ll complete d remaining work in

11/20 * 20 = 11 days

A's 1 day work = 1/20
B's 1 day work = 1/25

work done by both for 5 days = (1/20)+(1/25)*5
= 9/20

i.e. work completed by both of them in 5 days becomes == 9/20
remaining work = 1- 9/20
= 11/20

a can complete the remaining work in (11/20)*(20/1)= 20 days.
