Total people = number of men + number of women
34 = 4 + number of married men + 22
number of married men = 34 - 22-4 = 8 men

Since 4 ppls are men and single, therefore 34-4=30 people(married). In 30 people 22 are women. Hence 30-22=8 number of married men at the party.

no of married men = 8. bcoz if 8 men are married then corresponding will be 8 women. total no. of people are 16. 4 men are single total becomes 20. left only 14 who are women. so total no of women 14+8=22(atq). 4 are single men 22+4=26. and 8 are mrried men i.e. 26+8=34.

So 34-22=12 men
out of that 4 men are single
So we are left with 12-4=8 men
Thus ans is 8 mens

we have to find (x+y)^2 =x^2 + y^2 +2xy
we have =>(x-y)^2=x^2 + y^2 -2xy
if we add 4xy in (x-y)^2
we get (x+y)^2
9^2 + 4*14=137

the answer is 8....total 34 - 22 women= 12 men...now out of 12..4 r single so 12-4=8!!
