39th statement is true and other 39 statements are false.
as 39 th statement says , Exactly 39 statement are false. which satisfies the above condition.

nth stmt says that "exactly n of the stmts on this sheet are false"

so that we can conclude that n stmts are false rest are holds true

so 39th stmt says that "the 39th stmt is true and rest are false" means that there is only 39th stmt is true rest of 39th stmts are false.

All the statements except for the 39th are contradictory to each other for example, if we assume that statement 5 is correct that means there are only 5 false statements and other 35 statements are true but, all the other statements states different numbers of false statements present on the sheet nad in similar fashion we can rule the other statements false except for 39th. Now assuming the 39th statement is correct, it means except for the 39th statement all other are false. This is a valid statement with no contradiction since we know that all other statements are false.

(c) bcoz 39th statment says that 39th statement is true n rest false. there are 40 question so except 39th there are exactly 39 statement false..
