Let the value of A =1
Then B is x% of A =1*(x/100) = x/100
Given A is = (1+x/100)*(x/100) = 1
(100+ 1)*x/10000 =1
x^2+100x = 10000
x^2 + 100x - 10000 =0
x =[-100 + root {100^2-(4*1*-10000)}]/2*1
x =[ -100 + root { 10000+40000}/2
x = [ -100 + 100 root 5]/2= [223.60-100]/2
x = 123.6/2 =62% (approx)

x(2x+12.5) = x^2 + 12.5x + 36
2x^2 + 12.5x= x^2 + 12.5x +36
x^2 = 36

their combine efficiency = 1/x
usha"s work = x + 8
and her efficiency = 1/x + 8
like this way renu's work = x + 4.5
and her efficiency = 1/x + 4.5
now (1/x = 8)+(1/x + 4.5)= 1/x
∴ x = 6
6 + 4.5
=10.5

it is given that n is sum of two consecutive odd integers.So it must definitely be even.Also given it is less than 100 so the greatest such number is 96. As it is given consecutive odd integers we can take them as 2p-1 and 2p+1.Adding these two we get 4n.

draw the co-ordinate system u will get a triangle on 1&4 co-ordinate system it can be divided into 2 right angle triangles
use formulae =1/2(base * height)
for 2 traingles=1/2(2*3 + 2*3 ) = 6
