divide the work in 3 parts..
part 1: work of A + work of C for 15 hrs (tank will be empty till 15 hours)
part 2: work of A+ work of B + work of C to fill half tank (will fill the half of the tank in 6 hours)
part 3: work of A + work of B + work of C + work of D to fill remaining half of the tank(will fill the tank in 16.538 hours)
total time= time of part 1 time of part 2 + time of part 3 =(15+6+16.538) hrs
=37.538 hrs..

34 extra men should be engaged to complete the rest job in 6 days..
you may follow ratio rule for the quick answer..
(3/5)*(5/2*(8/6)*(9/9)*34= 34*2 =68
already engaged men=34
extra needed men=68-34 =34(its a shortcut and quick approach to solve almost all qsns of time and work)

If it is a campus placement, infosys will go through only two rounds in its selection process. 1. written test 2. Technical&HR interview. If you can clear written test your placement in infosys is 90% done.

ibm second round questions wil be mainly in document writing and formal letter writing u need to search different steps for writing them.u wil be asked bits on them and also punctuations,enclosures,subject verb agreement,capitalization of words..

a+c combined work = 3/12=1/4 , so a+c requires 1 day to complete the work
