If on going 5 km extra ,a man has to pay Rs 110 that is ,Rs. 35 more,to the amount he paid for travelling 10km.
so for travelling 25 km. which is 10 km more (to 15km)
he has to pay 35*2=70 Rs more
so 70+110 = 180
the ANSWER is Rs 180

If Fixed charges=k & Charges for distance=x
10x+k=75 ---(i) &
15x+k=110 ---(ii)
Solving x=7, k=5
So charges for 25 km=k+25x=5+25*7=180 Rs.

15KM --> 110-X
DIFF 5 KM --> 35 RS
THEN FOR 10 KM 70 RS => X=5 RS FIXED CHARGE
FOR 25 KM 35*5 =175 RS + 5 RS(FIXED)
TOTAL 180 RS FOR 25 KM

A difference of 5km pays Rs 35 more than the previous charge. so for an increment of 10 km it has to pay Rs 70 more.
so 110+70=180

For 10km ---> 75Rs
i.e 7.5Rs/Km
For 15km ---> 110Rs
i.e 7.33Rs/km
Together 10+15 kms ---> 75+110 = 185Rs actually
Since there is decrease in the price as there is an increase in the distance hence the possible amount to be paid is Rs180.

Let x be charge for 1 km and f be the fixed charge.
Now, 10x + f = 75
15x + f = 110
On Solving, x = Rs.7, f = Rs.5
For a distance of 25km, charges = 25x + f = 175+5
= Rs.180
