Discount provided by the first shopkeeper :
10% of 1000 = 100 --> 1000 - 100 = 900
10% of 900 = 90 --> 900 - 90 = 810
10% of 810 = 81 --> 810 - 81 = 729

Discount provided by Others :
30% of 1000 = 300 --> 1000 - 300 = 700

So, the difference is

729 - 700 =29

or
1000* 0.9 =900
900 * 0.9 =810

Whereas another Shop keeper give 30% directly so its selling price is Rs.700

then he give second time 10%
so, 10% of 900 is 90 and remains 810..

finally Out of 1000 he give 271 rupees discount...
...
For other user the simply give 30% discount..
so 30% of 1000 is 300...and 700 is price..
....
first shopkeeper cost is 729 and other shopkeeper cost is 700, so 729-700 = 29..
