=>work done in one day by R = 1/10
Similarly, Shailendra complete work in = 15 days
=>workdone in one day by S = 1/15

Let No of extra days shailendra works= x
Total work can be written as :
work done by both in 2 days + work done by shailendra in x days
let total work be 1.
Therefore,
2(1/10 + 1/15) + (1/15)*x = 1
2(5/30) + (1/15)*x = 1
By solving this we get x= 10
=> option (4) is the answer.

Shailendra requires 15 days and rupendra requires 10 days. So shailendra requires 1.5 time then rupendra to complete the same task. when they started together and after 2 day rupendra left. Rupendra did the work in 2 day that could be done in 3 days by shailendra. So 12 day requires to complete the work. And with this 2 day shailendra also did the work.. So the time require to complete the remaining work is 10 days
