When the item is sold for Rs. 26,100, loss is 13%
So cost price = 26,100 * 100/87 = 30,000

To gain 13.5% selling price = 113.5*30,000/100 = 34,050

So, x*87/100= 26100
So, x= 26100*100/87
So, the SP for 13.5% gain will be x*113.5/100

so 1 % of c.p. = 26100/87

x=30,000
2 gain a profit of 13.5% s.p. should b 113.5% of 30,000, hence
s.p= 113.5/100*30,000=34050. so Option 7

Loss=13%
therefore cost price=26100/0.87=30000rs.
To obtain 13.5% gain..selling price would be=30000*1.135=34050rs.

After which in same formula once CP is obtained from above formula be
SP=((100+gain%)/100)*CP

i.e.

Let the sp in case of gain be X
then, we know that c.p will be
100/(100-13)*26100 or 100/(100+13.5)*X
making these two equations equal we will get x=34050.
