Solution

Let P be Rs 100 then SI after 5 years is Rs. 60

R = (SI/P*T) *100 = (60/100*5)*100 = 12%


CI = A{[ 1+ R/100]^T - 1 }
=> 10000 { [ 1 + 12/100]^3 - 1}
=> 10000 { [112/100]^3 - 1} = 4049.28

R=12%
A=P(1+R/100)^N
=10000*1.12*1.12*1.12
=₹14049.28
Compound Interest=₹4049.28

Let the principal be P = Rs x
Amount, A = P + 60% of Rs x = P(1+TR/100)
= x + (60/100)x = x(1+5R/100)
= x + (3x/5) = 8x/5 = x (1+5R/100)
R=12%
Given P = Rs 10000, R = 12%, n = 3 years
A=P(1+R/100)^3, we get A = 14049.28
Compound interest = Rs 14049.28 – 10000 = Rs 4049.28

Let x be the amount, then total amount after 5 years at the rate of r% = x + (x*r*5/100) = x*(160/100)
=> x(1 + r/20) = 1.6x
=> r = 12%
So C.I. of Rs. 10000 at 12% rate foe 3 years=10000(1 + r/100)^3 - 10000 = 10000[(28/25)^3 - 1] = 4049.28

To get 60% increase with simple interest for 5yrs , Rate of interest should be = (60/100)*(100/5) = 12%
compound interest on 10000 for 3yrs at 12% = (10000(1+(12/100)^3) -(100000) = 4049.28

TIME=5 years
rate R = (60*100)/(5*100)=12
now to calculate compound intrest
C.P= P{1+12/100}^3-P
=10000{1.12}^3-10000
=4049.28

For 3 yrs the cd interest will be 10000*0.12 = 1200
11200*0.12=1344
12544*0.12=1505.28
Total=1200+1344+1505.28=4049.28

A=P+PR/100 =P(1+R/20) = 1.6 P
