Multiplication of value of first alphabet and last letter of each alphabet

When letters A, B, C, ...., Z are numbered as 1, 2, 3, ...., 26 respectively.
Then, coded number for given set of letters is obtained as a product of position of first and last letter.
G A B B A R = 7, 1, 2, 2, 1, 18 => 7*18 = 126
M O G A M B O = 13, 15, 7, 1, 13, 2, 15 => 13*15 = 195
S H A K A A L = 19, 8, 1, 11, 1, 1, 12 => 18*12 = 228
So, K A A N C H A = 11, 1, 1, 14, 3, 8, 1 => 11*1 = 11
