A library has an average of 510 visitors on Sunday and 240 on other day. What is the average number of visitors per day in a month of 30 days whose beginning with a Monday?

Solution

Since the month begins with a Monday so there will be only 4 Sundays in the month.
Hence required average
{(510 x 4 + 240 x 26)/30} = (2040 + 6240)/30
