Two trains of lengths 200m and 175m run on parallel tracks. When running in the same direction the faster train crosses the slower one in 37.5 seconds. When running in opposite directions at speeds as their earlier speeds, they pass each other completely in 7.5 seconds. Find out the speed of each train.

Relative speed of trains running in opposite direction = F+S =375/7.5= 50 m/sec
relative speed, when trains are running in same direction = F-S= 375/37.5 = 10m/sec
Hence speed of faster train = (50+10)/2= 30 m/sec
speed of slower train - (50-10)/2 = 20 m/sec
