12 ltr of 40% acid solution contains 4.8 ltrs of acid.
to make it 60% acid solution we add let us say x ltr of acid

i.e. (4.8 + x) / (12 + x) = 60%
(4.8 + x) / (12 + x) = 0.6
solving this we get,
x = 6

in case of polygon, sum of interior angle must be multiple of 180.
i.e. 100 + 124 * X must be divisible by 180. we get 100 + 124 * 5 = 720 which is divisible by 180. thus there are 6 interior angle and will have 6 sides, so answer is 6. which is not in any of your options.
